If I could get my paper edited for grammar and such that would be fantastic. Danna Orovitz 997566149 Dr. Ross Thompson February 1, 2016 Case Study: Christina & Rita C. This analysis of the case, regarding the possible removal of two-year-old Christina from her mother, Rita, aims to guide the decision of Judge Thompson to the greatest benefit of Christina and her wellbeing. In light of the information given, the major reasons for removal and continuation in the home will be discussed. Reasons For Removal The review of this case will begin with analyzing the reasons for removing Christina from the household. “Children must be with a ‘mind-mindedness’ caregiver, who is constantly responding with an awareness of the [child’s] internal states (feelings, intentions, desires, [and] thoughts)” (Social Dev. Lecture). Rita does not fit the description of a “mind-mindedness” caregiver and is instead demonstrating uninvolved parenting that is most likely influenced by her unstable situation. “[Parents who] are so overwhelmed with their own stresses and problems [don’t have] much time or energy to devote to child rearing” (Text pg 378). According to a witness, Christina is underweight, carries an unkempt appearance, and possesses some bruises on her face. These three factors exemplify characteristics of a non-responsive caregiver. Though there is no confirmed evidence of physical abuse, Christina’s bruises can be attributed to her mother’s lack of attentiveness and neglect which “[proves] to be even more harmful to children in the long run…[as they don’t get] the basic care and stimulation that they need to develop normally” (Text pg 404). Christina could be attaining these injuries during extended periods of lax or no supervision while Rita is working or otherwise involved. 1 https://www.coursehero.com/tutors-problems/Business/9037041 9037041 True or False? Write two obituaries (minimum 250 words each) in remembrance of President Abraham Lincoln. To complete this assignment, you are going to assume the role of an editor for a fictional newspaper on two distinctly different dates. It is your choice of who your audience is and what emotion the content contains, but each article should provide a perspective on the political, economic, and social impact that he had on the nation before, during, and after the Civil War.1. The first will be dated April 16, 1865, and will need to assume the role of an obituary from that date. Keep in mind what would be known, thought, and felt at that time.2. The second will be dated April 16, 2015, and will need to assume the role of a remembrance of his legacy. Consider his legacy 150 years after his death. Both obituaries will be submitted together as one document. The details about Lincoln’s time, location, and cause of death will of course be common to all obituaries and do not need to be cited; any other materials (e.g., quotes, accounts) must be cited and referenced using APA style. Do not reprint an actual obituary from the time as it will lead to steep deductions
